a quick guide to the evolution of human mind
Predatory mind is like a desert: an arid, barren, undulating landscape. The flatlands reflect higher ridged fata morganatic features on its horizons with a precision of a xerox photo copier. It is seducing life into its deadly trenches by mirroring the most scintillating, sumptuous, tempting things.
Every word, every move, every behavior of the predatory neurotype is a reflection of a bit of a horizon, of real words, of real things.
The reflection is unprocessed by the primitive predatory mind, only ever copied into forming memory regions. Millions of years ago when Lucy looked at the surrounding arid landscapes of African continent, all that her mind was able to do is reflect the images, and store them as copies, similar to digital devices storing copies of images. Lucy was unable to process what she saw, and so unable to understand it at the early embryonic stages of human evolution.
Predatory neurotype sees reality in a very similar way, that of the primitive human. Modern reality is much more complex today, so the reflections of it, of human words that evolved two million years later, of modern urban landscapes, make for far more complex realities to reflect. This makes for a very complex illusion to detect.
One method of doing that is listening for word salads. These are mosaics of reflections pieced together in a slightly distorted way. The art of detecting the mosaics is looking for the edges, which will be broken or blurred, or overlapping. The effect of the haphazard piecing is confusion, and slipping off the center of the subject matter, eyes glazing over the word message. Larger word salads lead towards aberrations and absurd. When used in political or social platforms, the word salads can and do make for dangerous propagandas, as they will be reflected by thousands of predatory NTs.
Word salads are very difficult to detect, because they are precise copies of originals. However, there is a more sophisticated method of detection. The reflection is always a reversed image, like in a mirror or on film. Because the predatory mind functions by reflecting, without processing the images and words, what is presented is always a reversed version of the original. What the receipient hears or sees is a reversed projection.
The ‘narcissist’ (predatory NT) is often accused of deliberate projecting, what it really is, is an unconscious reversed reflection.
In order to exist, to be in reality, predatory neurotype needs a primary source to reflect. It also needs many secondary and tertiary sources to reflect reality around him or her. It looks for the most scintillating, bright and shiny objects to intensify its sense of being. The effect of which is disconcerting to those it reflects.
In case of primary source, the predator initially reflects positive emotions, and positive reactions, which in the narcissism theory is called the golden period. Predatory neurotype feels alive seeing the new exciting reflections, and tries to initiate as many as possible, copying them and making them his own. Primitive mind cannot see the difference between the object and the reflection that is stored in his memory. It remains there latent, unprocessed, along with other reflections. If they are not reinforced, some of them fade in time, some are never stored, some blend with others.
Devaluation commences when the primary source devalues the predatory neurotype, by presenting a negative reaction. It is followed by xeroxed reflection by the predator. The ensuing devaluation slippery slope leads to a discard by the primary source, instantly copied by the predatory neurotype.
This is what really takes place, not what is widely written about the narcissistic cycle. The primary source is always the reflected subject, and the source that initiates each part of the cycle. Predatory NT never discards its sources, because it only always reflects them. The only way for the sources to avoid being reflected is by removing themselves from the predatory spheres of influence. Predatory NT will always seek its own reflections in others, who are its only purpose, as an appliance, a mirror.
Reflecting is a way the primitive predatory NT brain functions in reality and the world at large. It is a mechanism that is instrumental to forming predatory fiefdoms, and pyramidal structures. It is a powerful glue that holds the structures together.
When formed, visually the image is often striking. E.g in the Nazi Germany which was the most powerful predatory fiefdom up to date, the furher’s raised hand reflected by thousands of predatory NTs is seared into everyone’s memory.
Predatory NT is not aware it is reflecting reality. It is not aware of its own existence, the same way Lucy wasn’t and other animal species aren’t. The only moment it comes close to self awareness is the moment it sees itself in the mirror. It is the moment it is able to reflect itself, and copy the xeroxed image into its memory. Because predatory NT is unable to process the image further by organizing it and linking it to other images (like the neurotypical NT does), it must keep looking in the mirror. Or keep taking numerous selfies.
The neurotypical, popular idea that the narcissist is self centered, misses the actual nature of the neurological processes inside of the mind of the predatory neurotype. It is inaccurate, because the narcissist in order to be self centered needs to possess a center, an identity, which is voided. Predatory NT has to keep trying to process its own image to understand its own identity but it always fails.
Those who come into the predator’s spheres of influence and naturally are reflected by it, experience complex ptsd when the illusion shatters, when they are no longer reflected. The illusion shatters and so does their sense of reality as making sense, being a cohesive, “designed” space time.
Being reflected is pleasant. It is an addictive, extraordinary experience. The problem arises when the predator starts reflecting also the flaws, and the ugliness that is naturally a part of life. The devaluing reaction to it initiates a mirror devaluation by the narcissist/predator (I am using these two terms interchangeably). If a source is flawless, the positive, seductive reflecting continues, until the narcissist finds a more shiny source that grabs its attention, to reflect.
Predatory mind is a primitive human mind. Reflection is its fuel.
The narcissist exhibits black and white thinking, dividing reality into good and bad reflections. This distinction is a primitive first attempt at organizing information. Because the information remains unprocessed, stored in short memory, either good or bad reflections can momentarily be switched. The narcissist builds a vast matrix of both good and bad reflections, triangulating them with each other, which creates a dimensional hall of mirrors.
The process of reflection
Predatory mind uses all senses to receive reflections. In text as a written word, the reflection has the least impact/ potency, the shortest latency/ impression on predatory mind. As a spoken word, its sound reverberation lasts much longer. As a live presence, the combination of images, sounds and motion create the strongest reflection, its latency is longest.
These fleeting reflections, as they all fade unprocessed, give the narcissist a sense of its own identity which is much dependent on surroundings and the quality and quantity of sources which generate the reflections. Its sense of identity is very fragile, and as fleeting as the memory of a reflection. The narcissist must seek new reflections each day, or renew the latency of captured reflections from surrounding him sources (appliances). It is an exhaustive search, one that always ends in failure to retain the reflection, and its sense of identity. The narcissist’s unpredictable behavior reflects that chaotic, relentless, endless process, as it attempts to scour its surroundings for mirrors that will identify and satisfy him.
However, the process is a little more complex, because the predatory neurotype is not purely unevolved, and as primitive as our mind a few million years ago. The primitive process of reflection in predatory NT mind resides within modern human mind’s structure, and is dependent on inherited predatory DNA which varies from individual to individual. This is a material for another crucial chapter.
4.5 million years ago when we opened our eyes for the first time, we couldn’t process what we saw, and who we were. We weren’t even bipedal yet, clinging to trees for protection. Our primitive minds saw the surrounding landscapes, and started storing the images we saw in our very short term memory, but as soon as the landscape changed, its memory faded quickly. We weren’t able to process the images and store them in long term memory yet.
Image processing, its replication came later along with the evolution of our brain, its size and the neuro-network capacity that allowed to replicate the reflected images and store them in long term memory.
Neurotypical mind, a vast majority of human beings today, reflects incoming information and then replicates it creating a precise replica that is stored in long term memory. The image is replicated, categorized as either good or bad, the same way as the primitive mind had, but it is also organized in a linear order. This is the entire process right there. Reflection processing is extended to storing and neat linear organizing.
But it is not yet understood.
In contrast, primitive mind unable to store information long term, and process it further, doesn’t remember the previous day. Its memory is checkered, distorted by numerous pieces of reality reflections, past and present. Its memory has to be triggered each time by a source (of reflection) and execution criteria need to be met in order for the primitive human to take action. A lack of behavior is misinterpreted in the narcissism theory as a silent treatment, missing the primitive neuro nature of predatory neurotype. He or she, simply doesn’t remember you, until you trigger its memory by appearing in its spheres of influence.
Herein lies another argument for the assertion i’ve been making earlier that predatory NTs ensnare one another more frequently than the scenario of an empath vs predator. The neurological disability of predatory NT to store reflections long term, prevents a successful procurement of an empathic source unless the source has the same neurodivergent need, that of fuel/ reflection, and keeps appearing in predatory spheres of influence repeatedly enough to make a lasting impression. It is patently evident in the intensive mutual seduction of two predatory NTs I’ve written about previously.
Primitive mind is unable to categorize reflections farther than the white (good) or black (bad). The latent image reflections blend with each other, appearing as the same. A white reflection will be considered a strong reflection, not necessarily positive as long as it is strong, involving all expressions and all senses in an intense frequency. If a predator has two or more white reflections, they will often blend into one, and he will mistake one for another. It is the inability to process information that causes these aberrations in behavior, which are often unconscious, and instinctive, such as the silent treatment, projection, triangulation, lies, and gaslighting.
The neurotypical mind’s replication process removes these distortions of reality and prevents aberrations in behavior by simply organizing reflections in an order.
The driving force behind further evolution of human mind are emotions, crucial processes that help give value to stored reflections. Emotion compounds are the quartz of our mind, where reality is tagged and mapped. The neurotypical mind began developing positive emotions, which were absent and remain absent in the primitive mind. In addition to the initial negative emotions: fear, anger, hatred, jealousy, contempt (the negative compound spectrum), human mind began evolving positive emotion compounds: joy, sadness, grief, happiness, content, etc, and thus organizing reality impressions into a more complex reflection.
There will be an entire chapter dedicated to how emotion compounds tag reflections, virtually making reality clearer and better understood.
The neurotypical mind organizes reflections in a linear order, and adds another second dimension of tagging reality into a more ordered positive vs negative reflection.
Empathic mind emerges in the last second of human evolution, with the appearance of mirror neurons. It is the most powerful DNA leap, as empowering as becoming bipedal 4 million years ago.
We suddenly understand ourselves. We know who we are, who we were and who we will become. We see so clearly now, as if our blurred and distorted lens became clear. We look in amazement at the stunning beauty of reality.
Mirror neurons end our quest for reflections. We now self reflect, equipped with trillions of mirror neurons our brains buzz with, scintillating, amusing us as reality is reflected in them in thousands of combinations. Our minds greedily look around, storing the amazing reflections, organizing them through the neurotypical phase of linear replication, and finally now understanding them. A bigger picture emerges. And then more, and more, ceaselessly building even more complex realities, constantly increasing our understanding.
Understanding expands in wider circles, reaching the sky, and then the galaxy, and the the universe, reaching the end and the beginning of everything. We suddenly understand everything. Not only the ways another human feels, but how everything else relates to us and how we ought to relate to everything else around us: other animals, the planet, eco systems, our urban communities, minorities, other human species among us. The mirrors don’t skip anything, as every little thing matters now. We cannot avoid looking and seeing, and feeling everything around us anymore, as we become part of everything reflected in our mirrors.
With it, comes the price. As our little mirrors sharpen, sometimes we experience adverse effects. Some of us do, as the transition from the neurotypical phase to the empath phase proves to have its price.
It is called autism.
This transition can be disabling. See the first law of Objective Reality- Toil. The whole autistic spectrum reflects the wide range of side effects from mild to quite severe: sensory overload, emotional meltdown, unwillingness to communicate with the outside reality.
Sensory overload is an effect of mirror neuron growth, which results in sharper reflections bombarding a more sensitive brain. Autistics feel overloaded with physical stimuli accessing their senses of seeing, hearing and touching. The need to store these sharper reflections is increased, and it eventually reaches an overload- the capacity to accept further stimuli and a refusal to process them. The overload causes emotional meltdown and a need to abdicate daily activities in order to give the overactive brain a chance to rest and recover. The repeated cycle of increased stimulation, met with an overload, is the mechanism of evolution. Human brain is literally trained to increase its neuro capacity, which increases its sensitivity and depth.
Emotion compounds evolve further, as room is being made by the increased capacity. A deeper emotional spectrum causes emotional meltdown, parallel in nature to the overload of stimuli. It is a self perpetuating mechanism, driving the evolution of human mind. Autism is another word that means evolution.
The above is a mere sketch of the evolution of human mind, in order to give you a quick understanding of the process, and remove misunderstandings and an inaccurate picture of the autistic people, that exists today in our society. It is also a quick guide to other neurodivergent human beings, and neurodiversity overall that replaces today’s misleading and inaccurate theory of mental illness.
The evolution of human mind is parallel to the evolution of reality, along the Five Fiats of Objective Reality.
Phase one: Fiat 1: Mighty Predatory Toil -> predatory species -> predatory neurotype.
Phase two: Fiat 2: Grouping -> the social human species -> neurotypical neurotype.
Phase three: Fiat 3: Key & Lock -> empathic species -> empathic neurotype.
Phase four: Fiat 4: Evolve -> autistic neurotype.
